North East Wine Festival 2011

We had so much fun hosting the first North East Wine Festival in 2010 that we're going to do it all again in 2011!

The dates have been set -

Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th June with a posible third day on Sunday 5th June, 2011.

Next year's event will be even bigger and better with more wine & food exhibitors in addition to some of the region's best restaurants serving specially created menus!

The Venue rmains the same -  in the grounds of Tynedale Rugby Club in Corbridge, home of the Northumberland County Show. The North East Wine Festival (NEWF) will give you the chance to taste over 200 different wines from a over dozen specialist wine importers and retailers featuring wines from Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, England and the New World! You'll be able to buy wine by the glass, bottle or case. You will also have the opportunity to take part in talks by wine makers, wine writers and sommeliers at our formal tasting sessions.
